Tugboat Moonsail Unforgetable CGC
(Moonsails You've Got A Friend WD CGC x Seafaring's Sally Forth)
Natalie came to us from Charlon Sydock of Tugboat Newfoundlands. She was my stud fee puppy and her name, one of my favorite songs, was chosen even before she was born. Little did I know at the time how prophetic her name would be. As Char and I were busy delivering Sally's litter in the wee hours of the morning, a bulletin flashed across the tv screen that Princess Diana was in a fatal car accident. Unforgettable indeed...
Natalie was a bit of a spitfire as a puppy, but settled into a gentle and loving adult. She loved to show and was pointed out in no time and earned her first major, taking bow & bos over the then top female special in the breed. As we exited the ring, there were huge congrats all around and later I was told that handlers at nearby rings had been watching her and commenting on her flawless movement and performance. What a moment for me, still such a novice handler. :-) Unforgettable.....
Unfortunately, shortly after this show, her career was put on pause due to some major life changes for me. Before we could push play on her career again, as sadly and unexpected as the loss of Princess Diana, we lost Nat to a closed pyo. Natalie will always remain "Unforgettable" in our hearts.
