October 23, 2011 At the River King Newfoundland club supported entry, Gabby (Moonsails I Wanna Do It All) placed second in a strong 6-9 puppy class. Her litter sister Luna (Moonsails Lunar Eclipse) placed 3rd. This was their first show and at just 6 months old. Their mom Sadie placed first in a very strong bred by exhibitor class. Way to go ladies!!

Feb. 28, 2011 In today's mail was an envelope from the NCA Awards Chair notifying us of the results of the NCA Oldest Living Newfoundland contest. We had entered Stormy for 2010. While she was not named Oldest Living Newf for 2010, she was first runner up. We continue to feel honored and blessed to have her in our lives for 14 years and 8 months. Congratulations to Dr. Roger S. Foster, Jr. and his girl Ch. Halirock's My Tyche. Ty lived to an amazing 15 years and 3 months. Congrats to the rest of the runners up as well. Most notably all 6 runners up this year were over 14! I am thrilled at the progress our breed is making in terms of health and longevity. Cheers to all the dedicated breeders and owners that strive to improve the health and longevity of this noble breed.
Feb. 17, 2011Today I was notified by AKC that I have been designated as a Breeder of Merit. I am honored to be part of a select group of breeders that have been acknowleged for their dedication to the health and welfare of their chosen breed.
Jan. 16, 2011 Today our friend Cherilyn finished her boy Arson's championship with his final major and Best of Winners! Arson was bred and handled exclusively by Cherilyn. Congratulations to both of them!
A Feb. breeding is planned for Arson x Gigi.
Jan. 2, 2011 Today Shelby celebrated her 9th birthday! Happy birthday Shels!!! Birthday activities included steak for dinner, ice cream for dessert, and a car ride into town, good times!!!
